Fatoumata Diawara: 'A prayer for Malian people'
The song Douha (Mali Mali) is a collaboration between Fatoumata and the British dance music duo Disclosure. It's the second time they've come together to bring the world a musical treat and is on Disclosure's long-awaited new album which is out today. And the timing is something of a coincidence, with the song being described as a joyous ode to Fatoumata's home country Mali, it was released just at a time when the country has been going through massive political change. But she told Focus on Africa's Esau Williams that this was just a coincidence.
