Turning London ambulances into vital emergency vehicles in Zimbabwe
London based Zimbabwean woman Portia Khumalo has built a small fleet of ambulances to help ill people in Zimbabwe. Like many locals, she had difficulties finding an ambulance when she fell ill whilst on a visit home. That experience led to the birth of Rubatsiro Emergency Medical Services, which provides private ambulances in Harare. She told Focus on Africa's Bola Mosuro the full story.
