UN humanitarian chief: “the Sahel worries me mostâ€
The head of the United Nations humanitarian office OCHA tells Focus on Africa’s Bola Mosuro why he’s concerned by the humanitarian crisis in the Sahel region. Mark Lowcock says more than 13 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance, mostly in the border regions of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
