Western Sahara: Polisario Front threatens to end Morocco ceasefire
The nationalist group, the Polisario Front has threatened to end a ceasefire signed with Morocco in 1991. The Front released a statement on Monday saying that the Moroccan occupation forces started to move a large number of troops to the region. It went on to warn that the entrance of any military, security or civilian Moroccan elements into Guerguerat which borders a UN controlled buffer zone will be considered an act of aggression. Focus on Africa's Esau Williams has been talking to Oubi Bouchraya Bachir, the representative of the Polisario Front for Europe and the EU.
We have made efforts to contact the Moroccan government but are yet to get a response.
