Nigerian government to set up a National Covid-19 Vaccine task team
There has been promising news in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic with three different vaccines promising a high level of protection in clinical trials against Covid-19. However, they will need to pass regulatory checks before they can become widely available. In anticipation of a rollout, Nigeria's health Minister Osagie Ehanire has announced the formation of a special task team. So what should they be focussing on? Bola Mosuro put that question to Dr. Betta Edu; She's the National Chairperson of Nigeria's Health Commissioners Forum and also the health Commissioner for Cross Rivers state.
