Zimbabwe film inspired by the poisoning of 300 elephants
One of Zimbabwe鈥檚 worst elephant poaching incidents has inspired an award-winning film. The movie, 鈥淕onarezhou is named after the remote national park in the country, and is one of the latest in a bid by young filmmakers to revive an industry that had buckled under the weight of an ailing economy. The 麻豆社s Shingai Nyoka was recently at its open air premiere in Harare.
