Niger: More than 100 killed in two attacks
Saidou Sarki Mahaman, a student at Abdou Moumouni University in Niger鈥檚 capital Niamey, talks to Focus on Africa鈥檚 Audrey Brown about attacks in two villages which claimed more than 100 lives in Tillaberi. Islamist militant groups are known to be active in the region. Niger鈥檚 president Mahamadou Issoufou called the atrocities cowardly and barbaric.
