The president of the Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, has received the Covid-19 vaccine live on television. He was given the Chinese made vaccine Sinopharm, after the country was given 50,000 doses by Abu Dhabi鈥檚 crown prince. Speaking about how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the country鈥檚 vital tourism sector, President Ramkalawan tells Tim Ecott, 鈥渢he whole world for Seychelles turned upside down but I鈥檓 the eternal optimist鈥�.
