Seychelles president gets Covid-19 vaccine live on TV
The president of the Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, has received the Covid-19 vaccine live on television. He was given the Chinese made vaccine Sinopharm, after the country was given 50,000 doses by Abu Dhabi’s crown prince. Speaking about how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the country’s vital tourism sector, President Ramkalawan tells Tim Ecott, “the whole world for Seychelles turned upside down but I’m the eternal optimist”.
