Benin Bronzes: Britain’s “moral debt” to Nigeria
Former 鶹 correspondent Barnaby Phillips, who spent time reporting from Nigeria, talks to Focus on Africa’s Bola Mosuro about his new book, Loot: Britain and the Benin Bronzes. The University of Aberdeen in the UK recently announced that it would return to Nigeria a Benin bronze sculpture originally looted by British forces in 1897.
