Ethiopia is planning to radically transform access to education 鈥� using blockchain technology. The country鈥檚 Education Minister Getahun Mekuriya tells Focus on Africa鈥檚 Audrey Brown that he hopes the adoption of the technology will improve both the quality of education offered and access to it. Many schools will be hooked up to the country鈥檚 electricity grid for the first time as a result of the project.
