Meet Eno Barony: Ghana's 'Rap Goddess'
When it comes to rap music across Africa, Eno Barony's name always pops up in conversation. This year, the singer/songwriter from Ghana's harbour city of Tema, became the first woman to win 'Best Rapper' at the VGMAs (Vodafone Ghana Music Awards).
Eno is also a champion of equality for female artists in the industry. Her latest album is called 'Ladies First' and she spoke to Focus on Africa's Mark Wilberforce about the decision to feature only women on the album, and tackling the issue of 'body shaming' in her music.
