“I am in humane conditions and I am ok”
Former South Africa president, Jacob Zuma has sent a message to his supporters after spending his first night at the Escourt Correctional Centre in Kwa-Zulu Natal, saying he is in “humane conditions and ok.” Zuma handed himself in to the police, a week after he was found guilty of contempt of court and sentenced to 15 months' imprisonment.
Focus on Africa’s Paul Bakibinga has been speaking to the 鶹’s Southern Africa Correspondent Nomsa Maseko, who has been outside the prison.
