44,000 people declared missing in Africa- Red Cross
The International Committee of the Red Cross says more than 44,000 people are currently declared missing across Africa. More than 45% of them are children. The ICRC says its register indicates that about 82% of those missing are from just seven countries with armed conflicts. Focus on Africa's Bola Mosuro has been talking to Alyona Synenko, the ICRC Regional Spokesperson in Nairobi. First how did they arrive at the number of missing people.
