Guinea: 'A lot of these coups are predictable'
Dr Christopher Fomunyoh of the National Democratic Institute believes that many of the coups that have taken place in Africa could be avoided if the law of the country is respected. He says that democratic institutions like the African Union and ECOWAS should be more present in encouraging the observance of existent laws, rather than limiting themselves to intervene after coups happen.
