Obasanjo: I have not been rejected as Ethiopia mediator
There are fears that the war in Ethiopia's northern Tigray region and neighbouring Amhara may also reach the capital. That's because of the advancing forces of the Tigray People's Liberation Front with the OLA. Over the weekend massive pro-governent rallies were held to demonstrate support for Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
Also in the country is former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo who is mediating peace on behalf of the African Union. He's been talking to Focus Radio's Bola Mosuro.
