Sudan: 'Because of the military ruling [...] we are a collapsed state'
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has condemned the killing by the Sudanese security forces of at least 39 people since last month's military coup. The violence against pro-democracy protesters has also been condemned by the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken. Abdul Wahid El Nur is the leader of a faction of the Sudan Liberation Movement. He is one of those who were opposed to the participation of the military in the transitional government from the beginning and wants international community to exert more pressure.
