‘My heart sinks when people say if you can’t get a job, be a carer’
Dr Lin Berwick MBE is a disability campaigner and author. She has cerebral palsy quadriplegia, became totally blind aged 15, has partial hearing loss and is a permanent wheelchair user. She has been looked after by carers for her entire life.
She joined Emma Barnett on Woman’s Hour to discuss her new book, ‘On A Count of Three’, all about what it's like having a carer and what she thinks carers should know.
