Ugandan Minister confirms investigation into writer's torture claims
The Ugandan Minister of Information has acknowledged that he's seen pictures that suggest award-winning writer Kakwenza Rukirabashaija had been allegedly tortured. In defending the country's human rights record, Minister Baryomunsi said that the government of Uganda did not "condone torture of any form" and confirmed the launch of an investigation into the torture of the prominent Ugandan author.(Voiced over due to poor quality of phone line)
