Frances Fricker, who was an Accounts Executive with a consultancy company called Gartner, has won an employment tribunal after a judge ruled she was sexually harassed at work. She was continually called a ‘good girl’ by her boss, who told her which photograph to put on her work profile because he thought it was the most attractive. The Judge also said that because she fought against the harassment by taking a grievance, she was treated even worse in a workplace described as ‘laddish and probably toxic’.

In her first broadcast interview since the tribunal, Frances joined Krupa Padhy on Â鶹Éç Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss how she feels now and why she chose to fight for four years to get this result.

A spokesperson from Gartner said: ‘We are extremely disappointed in the ruling of the UK Employment Tribunal. We do not believe the evidence supports the ruling and we are currently determining potential next steps, including whether we will appeal this decision.
