Nigerian musician Jide Chord on juju music
Long before the popular Afrobeats, there were - and still are - other music genres in Africa that had a huge impact and have paved the way for many of today's stars. Juju music is one.
Nigerian musician Jide Chord has been one of the pioneers of juju music, which he first played more than 30 years ago. He has been speaking to Focus on Africa鈥檚 Peter Macjob and says juju music still retains its pride of place.
