Tigray war: 'slow but steady' progress, says Obasanjo
The African Union special envoy Olusegun Obasanjo has met the leader of TPLF fighters Debretsion Gebremichael in the capital of the northern Ethiopian region of Tigray, Mekelle. The meeting comes amid fresh fighting between the TPLF and Eritrean forces in Tigray. Speaking to Paul Bakibinga, Olusegun Obasanjo described the talks between TPLF fighters and the Ethiopian government as making progress "very slowly but steadily".
