Singer and dancer, Marged Siôn is part of Self Esteem, a group of women singing about female empowerment and confidence. Marged is the subject of a new Welsh-language film, Hunan hyder - meaning self-confidence. It follows her journey through trauma, addiction and recovery after she was raped as a 21-year-old, and shows how performing with Self-Esteem has helped her to heal.

She joined Jessica Creighton on Â鶹Éç Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss the group’s performance at Glastonbury, supporting Adele at her shows in Hyde Park and why she chose to make a documentary about trauma and sexual assault in the Welsh language.
