Did you know that Samantha Womack, who’s best known for playing Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders, represented the UK at Eurovision in 1991? She came 10th with the song A Message To Your Heart.

Samantha is currently playing the White Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in the West End. She joined Emma Barnett on Â鶹Éç Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to share how it felt to represent the UK at Eurovision, as well as her experience performing in front of (terrified) children and the iconic Turkish delight scene. Spoiler alert: She doesn’t like the sweets!
