South Africa's birth control shortage
South Africa has been facing a shortage of birth control at its public health facilities. A recent study by the Ritshidze project said contraceptives represent at least 40% of all out of stock medicine reported in clinics. We speak to Dr Indira Govender from the Rural Doctors Association of South Africa to find out the cause behind the shortage and the impact it is having on women in the country.
