COP27: What are Africa鈥檚 priorities?
As the COP27 climate summit gets underway in Egypt, Fatten Aggad from the African Climate Foundation tells us about the priorities for the continent. She says African countries are already spending an average of 9% of their GDP on responding to ecological disasters caused by climate change, and argues that the talks are necessary in the face of criticism that such summits only ever yield broken promises.
