How many people have died in Ethiopia's Tigray conflict?
Daniel Bekele, Chief Commissioner of the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, gives his reaction to the claim that 600,000 people have died as a result of the war in Tigray. The African Union's mediator for the conflict, Olusegun Obasanjo, gave the figure to the Financial Times. Speaking to Audrey Brown, Mr. Bekele says he hopes a transitional justice programme will unearth more information and evidence.
