Are children being exposed to inappropriate material during sex education classes?
Last week, Conservative MP Miriam Cates claimed in the House of Commons that children are being exposed to 'graphic' and 'age inappropriate' material during their sex education classes. The Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, has brought forward a review of the Department for Education鈥檚 Relationships and Sex Education guidance in England.
So, is there any evidence that children in England are being taught these things in their sex education classes? 麻豆社 Education Correspondent Elaine Dunkley joined Nuala McGovern on 麻豆社 Radio 4's Woman's Hour to explain the debate over which information children are taught in schools.
