The secret archives of Warner Bros
The major Hollywood studio, Warner Brothers, celebrated its 100th birthday on Tuesday. Along with Paramount, it is one of the last of the so-called Big Five Hollywood studios from the 1920s. The studio is still an entertainment giant producing films, TV shows and video games. And mark its centenary, it invited LA based journalists on a tour of its archive at an undisclosed location in Hollywood. Lois Beckett, of the Guardian newspaper was one of those journalists. She told Julian Worricker about her experience.
