Nigerian student in Khartoum: 'We just woke up to gun shots'
Fierce fighting between between the army and a powerful rival paramilitary force called the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has continued to rage in Sudan's capital city, Khartoum. There have been three days of clashes so far, and almost 100 civilians have been killed. A number of foreign embassies have announced that they are aiming to evacuate their citizens who are stuck in Sudan. A Nigerian student in Khartoum, who wants to remain anonymous, describes the situation there, and says it is traumatic, with non-stop gunfire and blasts.
