Supporting Burundi's poorest children
A woman in Burundi has dedicated her life to promoting education in rural areas using a holistic approach. Micheline Barandereka founded Shekinah Center to foster social inclusion and equality. In 2017, she was awarded a certificate by the Burundian government in recognition of the impact that her work has made in the community. She has been speaking to Focus on Africa's Veronique Edwards.
