Ticket office closures: “I think it’s absolutely appallingâ€
Alfreton, Burton and Long Eaton are just a few of the ticket offices at railway stations that may close as part of cost-cutting measures. The Rail Delivery Group, which represents train companies, say 12% of tickets are now bought at ticket offices.
