Residents in Dorking are frustrated that their post is being delayed, often waiting weeks for birthday cards and hospital appointment letters.

The Royal Mail admits it will be months before the town gets a full postal service. Some homes are receiving one delivery a week at most.

The Royal Mail has told the 麻豆社 it鈥檚 sorry customers have experienced delays during a challenging year and it has plans to 鈥渄rive service levels鈥� and reduce absence at its delivery offices.

Mole Valley District Council has lodged a formal complaint and is waiting to hear back.
