12 men from Houghton-le-spring will attempt to carry a Nissan Juke for 7 miles in memory of their friend from the gym.

Chris Mordey passed away last month seven weeks after being diagnosed with cancer and the funds raised from the car carry will go to Saint Benedict's Hospice who helped look after him.

The challenge starts at the Nissan Plant in Washington and will finish at Evolution Fitness in Houghton where the 59 year old trained.
