Why lifeguards have been evicted from Blyth beach
People visiting Blyth are being told to be extra careful when getting into the sea as the beach won't have lifeguards this summer.
Blyth's Volunteer Lifeguard Club have announced they won't be staffing the site after they lost their tenancy at the Dave Stephen's Building.
Northumberland County Council are meeting with the club to discuss the situation further.
