A Gateshead family is fundraising for potentially life-saving care abroad.

The Department of Health and Social Care say:

“Our thoughts are with Annabel and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Minister Smyth will be meeting with them shortly to discuss their concerns.

“More widely, this government will introduce a 10-year plan to radically reform our broken NHS, fighting cancer on all fronts – prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and funding – to give people the care they need."
