Kate McKinnon: ‘I’ve been profoundly weird my whole life’
The comedy actor Kate McKinnon - best known for her sketches on Saturday Night Live and for playing ‘Weird Barbie’ in the Barbie movie - spoke to Anita Rani about why she feels that being ‘weird’ has been an advantage throughout her life.
Kate was speaking to Anita as she’s written a children’s book - The Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science - which celebrates ‘weirdness’, and she joined her in the Woman’s Hour studio.
