Leicester's Christmas ice rink has opened to the public with twenty thousand LED lights beneath the ice.

The temporary venue on Jubilee Square has become a popular festive fixture, with around 42 thousand visitors last winter alone.

This year a food court and an arcade gaming area, including an air hockey table and basketball games, have been added to the attraction. It's open until the 5th of January.
