Leicester's Christmas ice rink has opened to the public with twenty thousand LED lights beneath the ice. The temporary venue on Jubilee Square has become a popular festive fixture, with around 42 thousand visitors last winter alone. This year a food court and an arcade gaming area, including an air hockey table and basketball games, have been added to the attraction. It's open until the 5th of January. Jo Hollis spoke to John Davies, project manager for Ice Skate Leicester.
