Plans to build a new solar farm on a green belt patch of land in the west of Newcastle have sparked 鈥渙utrage and dismay鈥� among residents there.

Northumberland Estates - which is owned by the Duke of Northumberland - wants to build a solar park on fields near Blucher and Walbottle.
