‘The King played my carrot!’
His Majesty joined Malvern's Tim Cranmore on ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ at a special reception Windsor Castle, with his group, the London Vegetable Orchestra.
King Charles III was accompanied by at least a potato and a marrow.
The veteran recorder maker Tim tells Toni McDonald how he's been playing hollowed out carrots for over a decade, and whilst playing his favourite, William Tell Overture at the event, even more members of royalty came over to ask about his unusual vegetable ventures.
