Prison officers attacked at HMP Frankland

The Prison Officer Association (POA) has written to the Justice Secretary to demand all officers be issued with stab proof vests following an attack at HMP Frankland in Durham.

Police are investigating after the brother of the Manchester Arena Bomber, Hashem Abedi, stabbed and threw oil at prison officers.
