BFI America: The BFI National Archive celebrates 90th birthday with new US counterpart
The main keeper of Britain's film heritage, the British Fim Institute's National Archive, is turning 90 years old - and to celebrate it launched a counterpart, BFI America, at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
As Tom Brook reports, the launch of the new organisation comes at a time in the USA when some cultural archives are losing funding, and there are fears vital heritage could be lost.
