Herefordshire's strawberry gin ‘a hit at SW19’
Herefordshire-based Penrhos Spirits served up a strawberry and cream cocktail to the Wimbledon masses, using their 'wonky strawberry' gin, created from fruit that wasn't quite shapely enough for supermarket shelves but still full of flavour.
Harriett Evans tells Elliott Webb how she helped to quench the thirst of punters at the world's greatest tennis tournament, with a cocktail created from their base near Kington ripe for the occasion.

Strawberry & cream cocktail recipe:
50ml strawberry gin
2 tablespoons strawberry jam
25ml Crème de Cacao
40ml double cream
Add all ingredients in to a cocktail shaker, and shake very well with ice to combine. Add sliced strawberries to garnish.
