As the centenary of the birth of legendary Hollywood actor Marilyn Monroe approaches in June, events have been announced around the globe to celebrate a 20th聽century cinema icon. As well as the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, the Cin茅math猫que Fran莽aise, the National Portrait Gallery and the British Film Institute in London all have retrospectives on her life and career.
