Kenya disbands feared elite police unit
Kenya鈥檚 Special Service Unit has been accused of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
Kenya's President William Ruto has disbanded an elite police unit which has allegedly been linked to extrajudicial killings in the country in recent years.
A clinician has become the latest victim to die from the Ebola virus in the Ugandan district of Mubende. The town is now in lockdown after President Museveni reversed an earlier decision that strict measures were unnecessary.
