Thousands march in Sudan pro-democracy protests
Security forces have used tear gas on protesters trying to reach the presidential palace in Khartoum.
Thousands of protestors have taken to the street of Khartoum one year on from the country鈥檚 military coup. Doctors have said one protestor had been killed and close to seventy people needed treatment for injuries.
The president of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera, has fired his agriculture minister, Lobin Lowe, and his deputy, Madalitso Kambauma Wirima, amid concerns around subsidies for farmers.
We get an update from 麻豆社鈥檚 Patience Atuhaire on the fire which broke out at a Ugandan school for visually impaired children.
And artist, Yinka Shonibare, gives us an insight into his latest exhibition on African modernism.
