M23 spokesman denies ‘an alliance’ with Rwanda
A spokesperson for the M23 rebels operating in eastern DRC, denies they are being backed by Rwanda as the Congolese government alleges.
The M23 rebels, one of the main fighting groups in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, have said that they are ready to withdraw from territories they occupy in the region, in line with a peace agreement reached in Angola. A spokesperson for the group says there is no "alliance" with Rwanda as the Congolese government alleges, and insists they are interested in resolving the conflict.
Nigeria’s Communications Commission has warned of the potential harm of participating in some TikTok video challenges, saying they could expose devices to information-stealing malware.
