Sierra Leone has passed an historic law to improve women's rights, including better employment rights.

Sierra Leone has passed a landmark ruling to increase women's participation in politics and the economy. Under the new Gender Equality and Women鈥檚 Empowerment Act (GEWE) 30% of government and private sector jobs in the country will be reserved for women.
