The militant group al-Shabab claims to have killed almost 160 Somali army soldiers in its latest attack on a military base in the country, while the government says just seven of its soldiers were killed. Fighting has intensified in recent months. The military says that more than 100 al-Shabab fighters were killed in this attack.
