Auditors criticise Ghana鈥檚 management of Covid-19 funds

An investigation on Covid-19 funding in Ghana, where there were fewer than 2,000 covid-related deaths, found $1bn was spent on the pandemic.

Auditors in Ghana have called out state officials for misappropriating or mismanaging funds dedicated to fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

The International Rescue Committee says the world should not ignore their plight of millions of people in the Lake Chad basin whose lives have been disrupted by terrorism, climate change, rebel attacks and displacement.
